Help Prune Trees

help us keep our trees beautiful.

Its not just about planting trees--Young tree pruning, or tree training, is critical for strong, healthy street trees! Our goal is to prune young trees in public right-of-way, so branching reaches at least 15 ft. over roadways and 8 ft. over sidewalks. It typically take 4-5 years to cycle through the city. It really does take a village!

Working with the city arborist, we prune in the spring and fall for several weeks. We supply the tools, vests, and the all important donut! Interested but never pruned a tree? No problem-- We teach you the ropes on properly how to property prune a young tree safely. We have other tasks, such as stack limbs, notify neighbors with door hangers, and more. Join the fun!
